SERVICES

In the home or a virtual session, the Trust Centre for Wellness offers evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and consultations. The Trust Centre Comprehensive evaluation Process provides the optimal type of intervention for the client by using formal evaluation tools and significant professional experience. Interventions integrate therapeutic techniques into routine activities that are pertinent, realistic, and most importantly, enjoyable, with a focus on modifying programming to match the specific requirements of individual clients.

FINE MOTOR SKILLS

"Fine motor skills" are the official name for abilities that call for precise, little motions of the hands, fingers, and wrists. These include activities like using pencils, zippers, and buttons, as well as typing, eating, and using utensils. For doing daily tasks like dressing, using the restroom, doing schoolwork, or using technology, fine motor skills are especially essential. Even though fine motor skills are frequently neglected in the early years of childhood, a person's sense of independence, self-esteem, and academic achievement can all suffer from a lack of skill development.

GROSS MOTOR SKILLS

Gross motor skills are those that need for deliberate, large-muscle movement of the body. They enable people to carry out activities including standing, walking, jogging, and sitting as well as less physically demanding skills like balance, hand-eye coordination, and body awareness. While daily living activities like dressing, eating, and self-care are most frequently linked to gross motor skills, these problems can also affect academic and social activities.

COGNITIVE PERPETUAL THERAPY

Cognitive Perpetual Therapy (CPT), much like Sensory Processing or Sensory Integration, focuses on the mind's ability to receive and process information continually. It involves the intricate interplay of cognitive functions and emotional responses, creating a perpetual cycle of mental and emotional adaptation. When individuals face challenges in this perpetual processing, it can lead to distorted thinking patterns and emotional responses.

SCHOOL SKILLS

Encompassing all of the skill groups listed above, School Skills range from the ability to sit quietly and follow routines to handwriting, paying attention and participating in social circles. Other competencies specific to successful integration into a school environment include time management and the development of behavioural norms.
